สำนักวิทยบริการและเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏพิบูลสงคราม ได้รับการพัฒนาให้เจริญก้าวหน้าและเติบโตขึ้นเป็นลำดับ โดยมีการปรับปรุงการทำงานของบุคลากรในสำนักวิทยบริการและเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศให้เน้นการทำงานที่มีเป้าหมายที่ท้าทายและต้องสามารถประเมินผลได้ตามแนวคิด SMART e-Library และยังได้ปรับปรุงพื้นที่ภายในสำนักวิทยบริการและเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศให้มีบรรยากาศที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ มีความทันสมัยตอบสนองต่อ Live Style ของผู้ใช้ในยุค Digital อีกทั้งยังได้จัดกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมให้เกิดการเรียนรู้จากกิจกรรมที่หลากหลายและได้สัมผัสจากของจริง นอกจากนี้ยังได้นำระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติมาใช้ในการบริการจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
